General Terms of Use

The following Terms of Use is a legal contract between an individual user and MyMagic MirrorUK.

Hired equipment will remain the property of My Magic Mirror UK at all times.
During the period of hire, the Client is solely responsible for the hire goods and must insure against all risks.
The Client undertakes to keep the hired goods in excellent order and condition and to return all equipment to My Magic Mirror UK in such order and condition.
Stickers and branding cannot be used without the prior permission of My Magic Mirror UK.
Nothing can be attached to the furniture / machines without the permission of My Magic Mirror UK.

Booking Deposits and Payments

My Magic Mirror UK can only secure a date once a deposit has been received and the details agreed. The deposit amount is usually 50% of the total package fee and is non refundable in the event of a cancellation by the Client. The final balance of any booking must be paid 14 days before the start date and time indicated in the booking confirmation. If the final balance is not received in full by this My Magic Mirror UK reserve the right to refuse to provide services on this booking and the deposit and any subsequent payments will be non refundable.

Cancellation

In the unlikely event of My Magic Mirror UK cancelling the agreement due to a Force Majeure Event as specified in these terms and conditions, we will endeavor to offer you an alternative service of style and cost for you to approve. In the event that you do not approve of the replacement or no replacement is available, We will offer you a full refund.These terms and conditions are designed to offer protection to both parties. As the Client you can request to cancel the booking, however the following charges will apply:

Delivery, Installation and Collection

My Magic Mirror UK will endeavour wherever possible to ensure that pre-agreed delivery and collection times are adhered to. Unless otherwise agreed My Magic Mirror UK require at least 1 Hours clear access to any locations where our items are to be installed before use.Unless otherwise agreed, all services are installed and delivered 1 hour before the start time of the event. Items are also collected and removed at the end of the hire period. Additional charges and idle time maybe added should services / equipment be required to be installed at an earlier time. Idle time charges vary based on the services and booking. These charges start at £20 per hour.Should the event space require access via a lift or stairs this should be advised by the Client prior to completing a booking, and may be subject to an additional charge. My Magic Mirror UK reserves to right to refuse installation of the hired equipment should it feel the location is not suitable / safe to do so.Once on location the hired equipment cannot be moved from one site to another by the Client. An additional charge may apply for wait time if a site is not available for set up at the time stated for delivery.An additional full-day hire fee may apply if items are not ready for collection end date / time stated on the booking confirmation.In the event of any equipment requiring repair as a result of the Client’s negligence, misuse or abuse, then the Client shall bear the cost of any such repair.In the event that the goods are damaged beyond economical repair, or are lost, the Client shall bear the full write-off cost. The Client shall report to My Magic Mirror UK in writing within 48 hours of the event, any damage to or loss of equipment. Write-off costs for each product are available upon request.

Refunds Policy

Should any of our machines breakdown over the course of your event, or an item of furniture arrive damaged due to no fault of the client or their guests, My Magic Mirror UK will refund this machine(s)/item(s) on a pro-rata basis.

Cancellation by the client

0-14 Days from engagement – 100% of the agreed fee.15-25 Days from engagement – 75% of the agreed fee.26-49 Days from engagement – 50% of the agreed fee.50 + Days (Deposit Fee Only)The above cancellation fees are an important part of the terms and conditions agreement and are accepted by the client on payment of a booking deposit. This cancellation policy applies to hire items only. Any custom, printed, or bespoke items are non-refundable. Management and design fees will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, based on how much work has been carried out to date.All cancellation fees must be paid within 20 days of cancelling the booking.

Force Majeure Event

A “Force Majeure Event” occurs where a party is unable to comply with its obligations under this Contract for a reason outside of its control (such as war, fire, death, illness or other capacity certified by a properly qualified medical practitioner, epidemic, accident, civil commotion, national calamity, order of Government or Local Authority having jurisdiction in the matter, changes in law, foreign government policy, act of God) and which is not attributable to any act or failure to take preventive action by Force Majeure Event or the Client.

Late Payment and Liability

You will indemnify us against any and every expense, financial loss, claim or proceedings whatsoever or damage to or loss of property arising out of the delivery, use, non-use, repossession, collection or return of the equipment or any part of it.In accordance with late payment legislation, our company charges debt recovery costs and interest on late payments (the Bank of England Reference rate plus 5%). This means that interest will continue to accrue daily on your outstanding debt from the date the debt became due.We will be entitled at any time if you break this contract or if any proceedings are commenced in which your solvency is called into question we will be entitled at any time to terminate this contract with immediate effect and to repossess any or all of the equipment. Such termination will affect our right to recover from you any money due to us under this contract or damages for breach of contract.You authorise us as your agent to enter any land or premises where we believe any equipment to be, in order to inspect or repossess it.

Disclaimer

My Magic Mirror UK accepts no responsibility for any injuries or claims whilst using My Magic Mirror UK’shired equipment / performers.Any delays by the venue or booker will not influence the finish time, extensions will be at the discretion of the operator. In the rare event of any delays to our service due to late arrival, technical difficulties will be added to the time at the end of the booking in the first instance. If both My Magic Mirror UK and the client deem this is unappropriate, a refund may be discussed on a per item, pro-rota basis however the refund amount will never exceed the amount of the booking fee.My Magic Mirror UK reserve the right to work in a safe environment. If at any time our operators feel compromised or intimidated by the behaviour of guests or they feel the equipment may be in danger of damage, we reserve the right to immediately withdraw from the event. No refund will be issued.When using the photobooth/ Magicmirror all children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.Any dissatisfaction of service provided by us must be made during the operating time of the booking, so that we can attempt to rectify the situation. We cannot be held responsible for any disruption to service caused by any third parties, be it the venue, it’s staff, other suppliers or guests.My Magic Mirror UK reserves the right to substitute and/or subcontract any goods for appropriate alternatives in the event that the actual goods quoted for are not available.
